When you’re taking your friends pregnancy announcement photos and this happens 🥹

Back story: This sweet couple has been dear friends of my husband & I for almost a decade - and one thing she has been ready for is parenthood. So when it came time for this photo session we were all extremely excited because this was something we now get to do along side each other. Our babies are due just a couple of months apart and we get to raise them together 🥹

Being in the stage of life when all of your friends and family members are getting married and having babies is so freaking special. I am currently pregnant with my second kiddo while a lot of my friends are currently pregnant with their first baby. Walking through life on similar journeys makes everything so much easier, but also less lonely.

Words cannot fully express how excited I am to have so many friends pregnant right now. I am beyond excited to see our babies grow up together 🥹

Part two of birthday sessions - the baby portion 🐣

After the family photos, we move onto just baby by themselves. We let them get their wiggles out, play with toys, climb on props until their heart is content! Once they’re done with that (which they are great about expressing) we move onto the cake smash portion of the session. Some baby’s love the cake, some babies love the bath! It’s different for every kiddo, and always a fun time to see what they’re going to do. This buddy loved his cake AND bubble bath which is pretty rare honestly! The bubble bath is a fun way to end the session after all that fun, baby splashes and gets cleaned up after a fun session, which also makes for adorable photos too.

Turning ONE is just so much fun! 😍

Especially when you’re this loved! Sweet boy had the best time at the studio celebrating his first birthday recently. First birthday photo sessions at my studio are BIG! We do it ALL in one session and everyone leaves so happy and tired 🙌🏻

This is just the first half of the first birthday session package - the family photos! Photos with the fam, photos with each parent, both candid and posed…. Then we move onto just baby by themselves. It creates a relaxing experience for baby to warm up to being photographed, but also the parents get to participate too!

Come back tomorrow for part two of the first birthday session! You will not want to miss seeing this little guys model faces he gave us 😂

It’s giving summertime ☀️

When the weather is just perfect, the outfits are vibrant and on point, and 2/3 kids smile for 99% of the session, I call that a WIN 🙌🏻

Watching these three girlies grow into the sisterhood that they’re entering is just so sweet. Each year the session is more fun (and let’s face it - sweet sweet chaos 🤪) and more of their personalities come out! It’s truly worth every bit of preparation that went into getting everyone here. 🙌🏻

Summer sessions are a favorite because the weather is just 10/10. I am so excited for all the outdoor sessions I have coming up before my baby arrives in the next few weeks 🥹

ALSO - if you need a pelvic floor physical therapist - THIS IS YOUR GAL! aka Dr Abigail is THE queen for taking care of your pelvic floor - especially for all my pregnant & postpartum Mamas. Did I mention she comes to your home to do these appointments?! It’s incredible. Everyone needs pelvic floor therapy, especially pregnant and postpartum Moms. I feel so dang lucky our lives crossed paths! She’s truly the best.

Motherhood 🌻

Truly the most special and hardest journey to be on. Full of emotions, endless laughter, sporadic snuggles, and that sweet little human obsessed with you (until they aren’t). See the last slide for just why I love my freaking job. Those texts mean EVERYTHING to me 🥹

This year’s Mother’s Day event was so freaking special. I absolutely LOVED celebrating all these mamas with their tiny humans. Seeing them come to the studio to get pampered, but also get actually good photos with their little ones, 1000/10 for me. I LOVE spoiling my clients when I can, and this will absolutely happen again every year now 🥹

The Father’s Day event is scheduled for June 6 at the studio for those special folks you and the tiny call Dad 💙 booking link is in my bio and on my website under the mini session days page!

You asked, you shall receive! More spring and summer minis are on their way for you to soak in the first warm days of short sleeve and flowery weather!

🌷May 16 / PM slots only / Denver location
🌻June 13 / PM slots only / Morrison location

Both mini session dates are 20 minutes sessions, starting at $275 with 5 images from an online gallery of 25+ images to pick from! You can upgrade at booking or after the session when you see the final gallery and fall in love with all of them 💕

What a wonderful world 🌎

Two posts about our Earth is truly not enough. We are so lucky to live on this beautiful planet full of unique scenery, luscious green grass, blue oceans and incredible mountain views. It’s my favorite place to be.

What’s even more special is that I get to photograph you and your family’s here on this beautiful planet, with the gorgeous views. Loving life and embracing the joy you have with your loved ones. I never want to forget just how lucky we are to live here, and the beauty that we make in this life.

A spring tea party 🫖

With Teddy as a guest of honor, obviously 🧸

This will truly be forever a memory I go back to when I am old. Watching my little girl have a tea party with her little animals, on a beautiful spring day. Pure. Magic. We played, we laughed, we ate more jelly beans than one should, and smelled all the flowers around us. A moment we will forever get to look back on. Even if she won’t remember, I know I will 🥰

Now I can’t wait to add in a new little buddy to our tea parties, it will be so special to see my kiddos playing together and creating their own memories together. Very soon 💕

For now, it’s just me and my girl on a random Monday, at the park, during spring 🌸
