Some of you know I quit my job. I quit because I wasn't happy in corporate America. I wasn't happy even though the paycheck was good and things were stable. It didn't serve me anymore. I'm taking a year off to code and build an app because I like building things and being creative, something I wasn't getting at my job. I really don't think any of us are meant to sit in a cubicle, with tassels on o

ur shoes, neatly pressed shirts, and saying stupid corporate jargon in meetings just to hear your own voice. That's bu****it. Nobody enjoys it. But somewhere along the way, we were told that we are supposed to fit inside this box. "It's a good opportunity". How many times have you said that? I graduated college and worked for a start up in the cycling industry. I told my boss I would travel around to bike races and take photos for our website if he bought me a nice camera. So he did and I spent that summer traveling around, taking photos outdoors. That's how I got into photography. But then I got a corporate job and I spent the next six years climbing the ladder and losing my soul. Now I'm going back to what I love. So in addition to coding, I'm starting a photography project and I need you! All of you! Your pretty faces. Your wild adventures. Your stellar climbing abilities. Your cool new products. Let me take your picture! I'm looking for donations mostly, if you support what I'm doing. But, it's really about getting back into photography for me.
