Sometimes it's about creating the light, using flash or placing people in interesting shadows... and other times it's just about noticing it. I saw these florals casting shadows on the gorgeous menus at this styled wedding and of course had to capture it exactly as it was. Love when the magic just exists and I get to show its proof 🥰

Took a little break from posting but had to come back just for this! We got to work on a styled shoot for and that designed and did florals for. Last minute, I saw this old Mustang available so I grabbed a white dress and scarf in my closet, along with my sunglasses, and brought this perfect suit jacket. "Lived in" guest portraits to overly-posed, every time. While iconic family portraits will always have their place, getting photos like THESE of your guests means a couple things:
1) Photographers who can blend in with your guests, and be present.
2) Time in the schedule for things to just BE. For YOU to be present at your own wedding, and us to be ready to catch it.
3) Photographers who swear by treating each frame like a celebrity is in front of their lens, no matter who it is.
4) The most important: Planning a day with guest experience in mind. Fun, interactive things for them to do, a DJ or band that can keep people on the dance floor, and finding ways for them to also be present with you!
5) Picking an iconic venue with a lot to do, clean rooms, NO TVS (we will talk more about this later) and tons of ambiance. This just makes your guests and overall wedding feel elevated and cooler!

We truly think these moments matter just as much as your couples portraits. Plan a wedding centered around guest experience, and you will walk away with some fun, favorite moments of your loved ones.
