Oh man, I can’t get over the magic that happens when you let a little movement into your image. That slight abstraction, the swirl, the uncertainty of what you’re gonna get…it’s my favorite ❤️ Speaking of favorites, I loooove me some !

Just adore this shot from yesterday’s dress rehearsal of “Scrooge,” ’s contemporary take on A Christmas Carol. This is from Scrooge’s duet with Marley, complete with tap dance and chains. How they managed to still make it compelling and not at all cheesy, I will never know, but they did ❤️ Highly recommend seeing it tonight if you can! Ticket link in my story!

Flashback to that 97° day a mere two weeks ago…as I sit here on this cloudy, drizzly 58° day. The stunning doing her thing in a pool as fabric floats around her will make any day brighter 😍 I originally shot these in black and white, which I loved on that high-contrast afternoon, but the color version was so eye-catching I had to share!

Sometimes you are in just the right place at just the right time to capture magic. A “found photo” as I walked across the ballroom during 2023. Thanks to whichever photographer posed and lit the lovely like this. That light was meant to backlight her, but I adore it as a glowing orb in her hand 🤩

Hi. I’m Gwen and I’m obsessed with dragging the shutter. Seriously, introducing motion blur in a variety of ways (subjects moving, ICM) is something I can’t get enough of right now. Love the experimentation of it (”What happens if we try it like THIS?”) and the extraordinary, unexpected imperfections that make you feel things a razor-sharp photo may not. Agree? Disagree?
