Did you know you can go to the top of this? Tickets are free and available day of after 845am. They went quick so unfortunately we didn’t get to go up. You can take an elevator or there’s 897 steps.
If you look closely, the monument is two different colors. That’s because they finished it at two different times 25 years apart.

A boring photo on a blah day in Florida. I took this photo from Bay Vista Park in St Petersburg. Most other locations to get a good straight on shot of this bridge you have to use a toll road. This park is free and has a really good view of the bridge and whole bay.

This is a composite of 13 images blended together. I did that so that the bay water is smooth. On our next trip I’ll definitely get a better shot and probably at night when it’s all lit up.
