A black wedding dress. A coffin-shaped ring box. A metal playlist that had everyone headbanging instead of slow swaying. And after the last guest had gone home, one final dance together, just the two of them, soaking in the quiet after the celebration.

It was a beautiful reminder that your wedding doesn’t have to follow anyone else’s rules. The most unforgettable days are the ones that reflect your story, your personalities, and the things you love.

Four years of photographing this family as they grow. Four years of showing up and watching them change a little more each time. And this year, we finally got to photograph the newest member of the fam, which honestly made this session extra special.

This is why I love family sessions like this one. We don't force anything, we just hang out and let the kids' personalities shine through, all the giggles, the wiggles, the real moments in between. That's what makes these photos feel like them.

Every year looks a little different. The family grows, the energy shifts, the kids change so much. But it's never, ever less fun to be a part of.

Here's to another year of watching this family grow.

Before photography became my full-time world, I worked in the wine industry, and looking back, I can see how much that season shaped the way I create.

Wine taught me to notice the details. The flavors, the stories, the people gathered around the table, and the little bit of magic that happens when something made with care brings everyone together.

That same feeling is what drew me to photographing food and beverage. It’s never just about what’s being served. It’s about the experience around it.

This LXV Rose Party feels like such a sweet reminder that the pieces of your story often connect long before you realize they do. 🍷🌹

I love watching a wedding vision come to life in a way that feels completely personal.

Mile High Event Burros brought so much charm to this day, from the custom flower crowns to the way they instantly became part of the celebration. Equal parts adorable, memorable, and very Colorado. 🫏🌼

I love that couples here have access to so many creative vendors who can take an idea and turn it into something guests will be talking about long after the wedding is over.

And honestly… burros in flower crowns? Hard to top that.

This evening at the NCAR trail wasn't about perfect poses. It was about following Zoey as she wandered the trail with a handful of wildflowers, soaking in every little adventure. It was about an unexpected dance party to *Love Shack* (her favorite, of course). It was about laughter, movement, and letting the moments unfold exactly as they were.

Because years from now, it won't be the perfectly posed photos that bring you back. It'll be the wildflowers, the dancing, and the way it all felt.

Those are the moments worth remembering. 🤍

It’s my birthday month, and I get to spend this day doing something I truly love, photographing a wedding out of state. ✨

I’m feeling grateful for another year, excited for the adventure ahead, and still a little amazed that this life lets me witness so much love along the way.

Stepping in front of the camera can feel incredibly vulnerable, especially when you're building something that's so deeply personal.

Kim shared that putting herself out there has been one of the hardest parts of launching her business. My goal wasn't just to create images for her new website. It was to help her feel comfortable enough to show up as herself.

We kept the session relaxed and intentional, with the little details that reflect how she actually works. Coffee in hand, a notebook nearby, and plenty of real conversation along the way.

The photos we created aren't about looking polished or perfect. They're about creating a sense of connection. I wanted the people who land on Kim's website to feel like they've already met her, to see the warmth, care, and authenticity she'll bring to every conversation before they ever reach out.

I'm so excited for this next chapter of The Delta Coaching Collective, and I'm grateful I got to help tell the beginning of the story. 🤍

Senior photos are the perfect excuse to sneak in updated family photos. 🤍

Because yes, this season is about celebrating your senior and everything they’re stepping into next…

But it’s also about the people who helped them get here.

The family that cheered them on, held them close, drove them everywhere, survived the school years, and somehow blinked to find themselves here.
