Marking the 15th anniversary of Warp Riders, newly-reunited stopped by a steamy on 08/19/2025. The Sword has been a favorite of mine since 2006 and I’m feeling so fortunate to cover their show. You can listen to their albums, sure, but you will never be able to FEEL them unless you see them live.

RIP to former Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds.
Tragically killed in a motorcycle in Atlanta yesterday, he is gone way too soon.

I’ve had the pleasure of covering Brent for his last few years in Mastodon, but have been a fan and regular attendee since their album Leviathan.
