Pride Fest is this weekend! The parade is an awesome opportunity to take some colorful photos. It's on Sunday at 9:30 am and I've included a link below which includes a map of the parade route.

Here are some tips to help you!

Stand on the South side of the street to produce better photos.
A good thing to remember is to always have your back to the sun. This is tremendously helpful!

You will need to use a faster shutter speed to get a sharp photo. Play with some motion freeze here and see if you can catch some cool effects.

• Grab your best Telephoto lens
• Always use a tripod
• Manual mode
• ISO: 100
• Aperture: F-5.6
• Shutter Speed: 1/250 second
• White Balance: Sunshine

We love how she invites you into this scene and makes you feel like you're right there in the streets of Dublin.

Looking for somewhere fun to shoot this weekend? We recommend the Lavender Festival at Chatfield Farms! Their beautiful fields of lavender can be the backdrop for some magical portraiture or a stunning landscape.

Want to know the secret to capturing stunning fireworks photos? Follow these four steps for the Fourth!

1. ISO 100
2. Aperture F16
3. Shutter speed 30 seconds
4. Always use a tripod

*NOTE: Camera must be set to manual mode with manual focus*

These settings will keep your images crisp and fill your frame with fireworks. We recommend adding something to the foreground, such as a tree or building, to give your images depth for maximum effect.
