A & K (she/her & she/her) celebrated their wedding and joining of families at the Denver Botanic Gardens.

They were one of the many couples I worked with last year that chose to have their wedding documented in a way that kept them completely present with their guests and each-other- which is the whole point and my favorite way to photograph!

Bagel drop off for my bestie on her birthday this morning, and a took a few snaps of her growing belly in her autumn garden. It pure joy watching your friends become parents. 🧡

Mik (she/they)+Peyton (they/them) had the most colorful and perfectly q***r celebration at the boat house last weekend.
Every detail of their wedding was either handmade or carefully curated to reflect their very cool and distinct style. The dress code was patterns, guests brought bake goods to share, Mik and Peyton made over 1000 paper cranes for decor, Mik crocheted their bouquet they had flash tattoos, a craft station, and hand rolled joints in the most beautiful paper. A the end of the night, even Mik’s grandma was dancing to pink pony club. It was just the most special day and I and so grateful to be invited into their joy.

Is Film Friday a thing? I wanted to start sharing some of my analog adventures over here, and I’ll begin with this set of images from my first souped roll of film. Not only was the film canister soaked for 24 hours in boiling water, lemon juice, dish soap, and cherry Kool aid powder- but it was also accidentally exposed to light while I tried to rush dry it. It turned out totally chaotic, but hey, so is my life right now. And I kind of love it. So many happy accidents with film.
Joyfully developed and scanned by me in my basement.

I had such an incredible experience in my studio and Garden yesterday with R & B who are expecting their first child in October.

They were referred to me by a lovely Venezuelan family that we have gotten to know over the past year. B&R are Spanish speakers yet we were still were able to create these beautiful images together, even with our language barrier.

They loved spending time in the garden and meeting our pig. They even left with a bag of peaches from our tree.

It was an experience I was so lucky to have because of my photography.
