There’s a reason so many of my families come back every fall. 🍂

Mini sessions make it easy to keep the tradition going. They’re quick enough to fit into a busy schedule, but long enough to capture so much more than you might expect. Before you know it, you’ll have a collection of photos that tells the story of your family, one year at a time.

Looking back and seeing how much your little ones have grown, their missing teeth, your new baby, the family dog... those are the things that make these photos priceless.

I had the most amazing time capturing this beautiful mama to be. Studio sessions have become one of my absolute favorites lately.

There’s something about the simplicity. No distractions, no noise, just you and this season you’re in. It feels calm, intentional, and so timeless. The kind of images that won’t feel dated years from now, just honest and beautiful.

It’s opened up a whole new side of my work. Playing with light, movement, textures and letting the focus stay exactly where it belongs.

It’s been a little quiet around here, and I wanted to share why. Over the past few months I stepped away from my business to welcome my own baby and step into motherhood. And honestly, it’s changed the way I see everything.

Before becoming a mom, I always believed family photos were important. I knew they mattered. But now I feel it in a completely different way.

Since having my baby, I’ve found myself wanting to hold onto every tiny thing. Every milestone, every version of him that exists for just a short moment before it changes again. And I’ve realized something that feels both beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. The hardest part of motherhood is falling in love with every stage of your child, and also knowing you don’t get to keep any version of them.
They grow. They change. They become someone new, over and over again.

And you love every new version of them, but suddenly you’re missing the version of them from just a few months ago. It somehow disappered without you even noticing. Coming back to my work now feels different. More personal. When I photograph your family, it doesn’t feel like just my job anymore. It feels like helping you hold onto a chapter of your life that will never look exactly the same again.

I’m so grateful to be back and so grateful for the families that trust me to capture these moments. Thanks for being here 🤍
