My dad was a photographic hobbyist who had boxes and boxes of 35 mm slides - I caught the bug from him at around age 5. I'm a freelance photographer emphasizing concert (e.g., rock) and natural history (e.g., rock) photography around the world. I'm all about context, framing and angles. arcia Band (the first concert I shot in 1983!), Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Steve Kimock Band, Alpha Blondy, String Cheese Incident, Railroad Earth, Goose, and many, many more. My natural history photography is more international - I've taken photos throughout the Pacific (including Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Fiji) and the Middle East (including Israel and Jordan). My photos have appeared in newspapers coast-to-coast including the Marin Independent Journal, Westword and New Jersey Herald, print publications including Relix Magazine, books including the 50th Anniversary expanded edition of Country Music USA and High on a Mountain: An Oral History of Jamgrass in Colorado and many online sites including Live For Live Music, Jambands.com and Recreate Magazine.
