Drive The Image

Drive The Image I'm a Colorado wedding photographer that's born and raised in this beautiful state. Photography is a part of me and has been for over 20yrs.

I love capturing life and all that comes with it. I started from the beginning of the photography days. I took courses in High School and in College in the dark room. Then I went on my own taking pictures of families, but paper/film was to expensive. I tried again when I went to Europe and sold my landscape pictures at studios. I knew then all I wanted to do was photography. I worked at Life touch

doing school portraits, learning poses, glass glare, lighting, etc. Also worked at Jcpenny's and Portrait Innovations really getting into posing families, individuals, etc. I went on my own taking what I learned from the bottom up and did model run way shows. I began doing Weddings in 2009, and loved every moment of it. I then got into Senior pictures, family portraits, newborns, etc. I do mostly outdoor pictures but have got into studio work too. I never say no to a photo shoot. I learn how to make it happen, and do my best until I get it perfect. I can never have enough knowledge on my passion. I will do this art until I can't breathe anymore. :)

These last 6 weeks have been really hard for me. We lost my dad on October 30th and my heart's been breaking ever since. This is one of my favorite videos of my Dad telling me how proud he was of me owning my own photography business. The whole reason I do photography is because I was adopted and we didn't have many baby pictures. I was very blessed to be adopted and given a 2nd chance at life. I wished I thanked my Dad more while he was alive and I pray he knows how much he meant to me. This last July he got to see me photograph a wedding for the first time in 13yrs and that just melted my heart especially hearing those words "I'm pretty proud of her."

The main thing I learned from losing someone so close to me is to treasure those precious moments that you do have with them. Also take more pictures, videos, and just be around your loved ones more. The older we get the less time we have with our loved ones. Life goes by so fast so remember to slow down and just be in the moment with your loved one. ❤️📸

"Enjoy every moment you have. Because in life, there are no rewinds, only flashbacks. Make sure it's all worth it."
