Art through adversity.
I love seeing all my creative friends using this time to continue making great art. I know most of us are out A LOT of money. We are all feeling defeated BUT that doesn’t mean it should stop us from doing what we love. Continue to evolve, adapt, and learn.
During these times when it feels like the color has been drained from our lives continue to use your creative vision to give people around you something to look forward to.

Has anyone ever seen station so empty?? Taken a few days ago, I knew this would be a good opportunity to show a different perspective of the impacts of in downtown Denver.

Good thing I can fly the drone from my car lol.

Plus I figured it would be the last opportunity for pictures with snow.

Be a good person. Maintain a social distance. If you go out to stretch your legs don’t go to a place where everyone else is. And please don’t be stocking up on toilet paper and guns 🤦🏼‍♂️.

I’ve been getting a lot of work done from home, but stepped outside quick to get this drone shot. Despite losing most of my work in the coming months, I’m remaining optimistic for the future. You should too. We in this together.

Over the last couple days I’ve been working on my first coffee table book. It will be all black and white street photography from when I was studying abroad at in Florence in 2015.

While I was going through all those pictures I came across some videos that had me reminiscing like crazy. I would record street musicians and then make these short videos. I’ve been seeing so many images of all these streets and piazzas completely empty. Literally not a single person. There was always music being played in the piazzas. There were constant crowds of people. The idea of these streets being empty and silent is hard for me to fathom.

Last week was amazing. From filming with (📸 credit 2nd photo) down in Albuquerque to taking a three day road trip on my way back to Denver to watch a recent documentary I helped film play to a sold out theatre.
In a three day road trip I visited ancient cliff dwellings, took a wild trip to Santa Fe to check out some galleries and , drove through a couple national forests, camped at Sand Dunes National Park to see the largest sand dunes in the country right at the base of a mountain range, and swung by some hot springs.
Being able to make work trips into personal trips is something I’m going to do more in 2020.
