A little about me...
When asked, I tell people I am an artist and photographer. From as far back as I can remember even contemplating the question, I have never wanted to do anything else but create art. One form or another. And when not in front of a canvas or paper or behind the lens of my "regular" camera, you can find me spending far too much time trying to perfect the art of phone photography (I love a good challenge.) You might also find me traveling, cooking (and eating, duh) over-using the color orange, spoiling my large, clumsy, lovable chocolate lab, biking, snowboarding, watching movies (love love movies) dreaming of Italy, wishing I could afford more Brunello wines, and getting totally sidetracked by trashy click-bait when I should be working.
I grew up in Michigan, and although the Enchanted Mitten State has its charms, once I moved to Colorado (over 20 years ago, yikes!) I was here to stay. I can't imagine living anywhere else. I have a BA in Fine Art from Michigan State University, and I have dabbled in just about any and all mediums of art.
It is probably redundant to say, but I love pictures. Of just about any kind. As a kid I would spend hours with my grandparents' photo albums. When I was ten I got my first camera and have never been far from a shutter button since.
