There’s something about this time of year that makes me especially aware of how quickly everything changes. The kids get a little taller, their personalities a little bigger, and another season of family life quietly slips by.

My Limited Edition Fall Sessions are for families who want to make sure this season doesn’t go undocumented.

Twenty relaxed minutes together. Plenty of guidance from me. No expectation of perfectly behaved children or everyone looking at the camera the entire time.

I've been thinking about how to make fall sessions feel less like a scramble and more like something to look forward to.

So this year, they look a little different. Limited edition sessions, designed for families who want updated portraits without the time or commitment of a full session. Shorter, simpler, still beautiful.

The other new part: no set date or location. I'll work with each family to find a time and place that actually fits your life. Golden hour or sunrise, wherever feels like you.

A question I get often is when should I book my newborn photographer?

My answer! As soon as you can or during your second trimester ideally.

Newborn sessions happen in the first two weeks after baby arrives, which means the calendar fills months in advance. Booking early means you're not scrambling in the newborn haze, and it gives us time to plan the details together.

Excited to announce that I will be the contributing photographer for our local magazine Denver Lake Living going forward. I will photograph companies and families for the cover and inside article. June is my first issue with a feature about me, and cover photo of an animal rescue. Not my pictures but Faith with Back to Play is also in it with a great story about her non profit which I've shared about before.

Tomorrow I get to see this sweet family again for his final session in the baby plan, and it feels a little bittersweet. It always amazes me how quickly a year passes, from tiny newborn snuggles in mom’s arms to celebrating a whole first year of milestones and memories.⁠

And then comes one of my favorite parts… bringing it all together in a custom first year album that tells the story of this season from beginning to end.⁠

I can’t wait to see them tomorrow and continue preserving another beautiful chapter of their story.⁠
