Part 1 of MacKenzie + Joe’s 2 day wedding 🪻

This was my first wedding of busy season, and my god. It set the bar HIGH.

We started day 1 at sunrise for a wildflower adventure, followed by a sweet little picnic by a lake.

We hiked to an incredible waterfall, where they read personal vows to each other, surrounded by rushing water and mist (that I swear was a paid actor bc hello???)

I met back up with them in the evening for their rehearsal dinner, where they ate pizza and spent quality time with their guests, followed by creating the bud vases for the wedding day! Everyone banded together and helped create stunning centerpieces for the dinner table (which you’ll see the final product in part 2 👀)

Wow. If this day is any indication of how my 2026 season will go, I’m in for an extraordinary year 😭

Happy Earth Day 🌱

There’s one thing all of these photos have in common: they were ALL taken on public land.

And right now, our public lands’ funds are on the chopping block, yet again—just in time for wildfire season.

Take today as your reminder to protect our planet from corporate greed and billionaires, because they want to sell our public lands to the highest bidder.

Get mad. Get involved. Get outside and touch grass. Love you.

I am constantly inspired by vibrant hues found in nature. One thing you will NEVER see me doing is tamping down on color in my images.

When Marissa said that LOTR and ACOTAR was the vibe twin for their elopement, I think I blacked out from excitement.

And then this beautiful couples shows up looking like they straight up walked out of a fairy tale 😭 the dress? The sleeves? The CAPE?? I’m wholeheartedly gagged.

Marissa’s mom even sent over traditional fresh Hawaiian leis all the way from Hawaii 🌺 they smelled DIVINE.

The fantasy vibes were off the charts, and being set in the mountains made it even more majestic.

M+N’s elopement day was nothing short of magical, and I’m so honored I got to be a part of it ✨

My 2026 elopement season kicked off with an absolutely BREATHTAKING day 🥹

Telluride showed off with SNOW for Lauren + Nate. It’s no secret the snow pack was basically nonexistent this winter, so waking up to the valley coated in snow was such a wonderful surprise.

This day was packed full of fun activities, including hiking to a gorgeous river, walking around town for donuts and tacos, and ending the night with pool and foosball (and shot-skis!!!)

If this is any indication of what my 2026 season is going to be like, I’m in for the best season yet 💖

Swipe to watch Amanda + Will’s stop-motion film 🎞️

I have so much damn fun making these cutie little videos.

This was my last elopement of 2025, and it was such a fun day. They had a gorgeous ceremony on a frozen lake, took a majestic sleigh ride, went to a wine bar, and went back to their lodging where they had a private chef cook them dinner. They also got to FaceTime their friends and families to tell them the good news!

Their friends and family had NO IDEA. They kept their engagement and elopement plans a complete secret. When their families got the call, they all thought they were getting a “we’re engaged” call, but it was actually a “we’re married” call 🥹💖

It’s absolutely wild to me that I was one of the handful of people who knew about this day. It’s always a great reminder of just how much trust my couples put in me, and I couldn’t be more thankful for that trust 😭

Does it get any more “winter wonderland” than a literal one horse open sleigh???

I don’t think it does ❄️

Amanda + Will had the most amazing elopement day in Breckenridge, and here’s a short list of what made the day so special:

🎄 Their ceremony on a frozen lake in the mountains? Stunning.
🎄 The amount of tears shed (from emotions and the wind)? Plentiful.
🎄 The cozy Airbnb with a private chef? Incredible.
🎄 The Christmas lights downtown and snowy sleigh ride? Festive AF.
🎄 Having the same horse on our sleigh ride that was on that one episode of Denver Love is Blind? Iconic.

Did I mention they didn’t tell ANYONE they were doing this? They surprised their families by FaceTiming them in their wedding attire to tell them at the end of the day 🥹

It’s not lost on me how incredible my job is. I was one of the only people that knew about their elopement plans—even before their families. I’m so grateful to be trusted with such wonderful knowledge to help bring the vision to life.

I’m going to miss the 2025 season, because it was the damn best one yet 🫶

When couples tell you “I wish we would have eloped,” LISTEN TO THEM.

Being in the wedding and elopement industry for as long as I have, I have heard many couples confide in me that they wish they would have eloped instead.

But I never hear the opposite. I’ve never once heard a couple say “I wish we didn’t elope”.

It may have already crossed your mind, or you may be hearing it for the first time, but when someone mentions eloping, you should really consider it.
