SPOT Drone Imaging Services, LLC was created by President, David Cowley, capitalizing on his 26 years of experience as a Military Intelligence aviator in the United States Army and 21 years as a defense technical support contractor. He is a decorated Colonel and proud Vietnam Veteran. His knowledge of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)

created and flown by the military gave him the background to start an aerial imaging and video company. He and his wife, Kathleen, were inspired to start the company after selling their waterfront home on Lake Norman - it sold quickly because of the aerial photography used to market the home. They believe aerial photography and video is an essential marketing tool in today’s real estate market and see the potential for commercial, land use, and special events. They use the state of the art drone and video equipment to produce high quality ultra high definition(UHD) videos for the various vertical markets.
