Every year around this time, moodboards slowly start turning brown and orange lol. Suddenly everything needs a leaf, a knit sweater, a coffee cup, something.

And none of those things are bad. I just think seasonal content gets way more interesting when the starting point is what actually changes for people, not what objects we’ve collectively decided represent September.

What are people buying again? Doing again? Recovering from? Getting excited about?

That gives you a lot more room creatively, especially if the goal is for someone to still recognize your brand before they recognize the season.

almost learned this one the hard way 😭

this is how i’ve been protecting my photography work from shoot day all the way to archival storage. definitely not the only way to do it, just the backup system that saved me this time.

my current setup:
Canon → shoot
Laptop/desktop → active projects
SanDisk SSD → local backup
WD HDD → archival storage
Dropbox → cloud storage

photographers, videographers, designers, literally anybody making things — how are y’all backing up your work?

drop your system below. maybe we can all steal a few ideas from each other lol
