Your wedding day is a celebration of your love, a day with your closest an dearest friends and family.

I’m not about to make your wedding day feel like a stiff, staged photoshoot.

I’m here for:
The ugly cries
The nervous exhales
The little in-betweens between you and your partner
Reminding you to breathe, relax, and enjoy your day.

Listen. Being awkward in front of the camera is HUMAN. We all are. Most of us aren’t models and that’s okay!

99 percent of my couples tell me on our first phone call that they’re worried about being awkward. Can you tell in their photos? No!

They’re laughing, crying happy tears, and enjoying the hell out of their wedding day. That’s what you see and feel. Not the awkwardness.

I don’t pose. I prompt. We run, we dance, we laugh. When I’m not documenting and storytelling, I’m keeping you going. We don’t stand still and feel stiff. Embrace the chaos, be silly, be your freaking selves! The magic is right there. You with your person. I promise you I will take your awkward and make it beautiful, because guess what? It IS BEAUTIFUL.

Just some little friendly wedding photographer tips if you’re looking for fun and candid wedding photography!

1. Please please get out on the dance floor, together! We all love a candid guest dance floor photo, but you’re going to adore the ones of you two having a blast out there.

2. Don’t pack your timeline, and save yourself from making a shot-list. Squeezing into tight timelines or having to adhere to strict shot lists makes it difficult as a photographer to capture natural, candid and creative images of your day.

3. Keep it about you two! This one goes with out saying, hopefully! Don’t let your guests and family dictate how your day goes. Do what you want, when you want. There’s no rules, promise.
