He was soooo tiny, I don’t have a proper macro lens, but still I was able to get this cute little shot. Definitely getting a macro lens before 2027, if life allows it.

Bees are a favorite of mine, I spent over an hour looking for insects in my neighbors front garden, I found a few other bugs, but this shot was one of my immediate favorites. Excited to edit and share the other photos! 🐝🖤

This is Dewey, he’s a very good boy, and played for about 8 minutes.

I recently tried to get advice in a Beginners Photography Group on Facebook about a situation I was asked to photograph (low light, spontaneous reaction) and specifically asked for kind and informative responses and was simply met with “you don’t know anything about photography”.
“If you have to ask these questions, you’re not a real photographer”
That was the first public post I’ve ever made asking for advice, about anything. I added a photo for attention, so people wouldn’t just have to read about my situation. Instead people tore apart the photo I posted and offered 0 helpful advice.
This was one of my biggest fears for so long, and 100% the reason I’ve gatekept 99% of my photos over the last 10 years.

I am not a professional, I am a hobbyist who is still learning and trying. I can’t buy $20,000 worth of gear and drive 10 hours to the best locations and then spend weeks editing photos on six different softwares. That doesn’t matter to me, I have fun, I can gift people moments back of their life, and I have the support of the people who actually know and care about me.

To those who love and support me: thank you eternally🫶 words really can’t express my gratitude, I hope each of you have personally felt my love through these processes.

To those who used to support me and decided they were too good, or have never supported me: I have more fun without you in my life.

My second family has their photos and have made posts, so now I’m mentally allowed to make mine.
On a whim, I decided I wanted to practice action shots with a dog, and I love my nephew, so why not. I wasn’t expecting much, certainly not anything I’d feel confident enough to post. Well, I do love to be wrong. I’m always learning, and as long as everyone is having fun, I’ll always push myself beyond my skills to improve. I love my whole family and this section of my family is incredibly important to me. Thank you for your time, love, and patience as we endured 95 degree heat for these shots.

Hey everyone! I decided to start posting my work from the last 10 years, up until the last few years, I exclusively shot landscapes and macro, I branched out to portraits simply to appease people and hopefully start a business out of it. It became taxing, and not financially worth it. Photography is probably my only true passion, and I’d love to share where I came from before I got into portraits.

This is a on a flight from Amsterdam to Hungary on 12/26/2015. It’s a completely raw photo!
Fun fact: I lived in the Netherlands for 2 years so a lot of my shots will be from that time! Love you all, see you soon! 🫶

On a whim, I decided to drive almost two hours to try astrophotography with full gear for the first time. I’ve always shot Astro with whatever phone I have and got great results, but there was something about setting up a tripod, securing my camera, finding the perfect sweet spot for my lens, and patiently waiting to capture my art. I can’t thank Michael Liam Cummings enough for joining me on my impulsive journey to the void. I am tracking more meteor showers to keep trying to nail these shots. A challenge that will push me further than any other subject has so far🖤

Hi everyone! It’s been literal years since I’ve visited my lifetime passion of photography. I’ve kept up with some aspects of the hobby, but completely lost my love for proper, full gear, photo shoot photography. Well, my love Lex Lutherin, reignited my passion and we’re going to learn our new cameras together! I had a blast testing out my “new” (had it for three years but barely used it) camera. Thank you for bringing back a part of me that I thought was lost. Much love, babe 🖤

Moving forward I will be focusing on animals, macro, and anything but humans. It was short lived and took more than it gave me. But I am so grateful for everyone who was patient with me through that era of my hobby. I would love to expand my skills more with more animals and will be spending time over the summer with the beautiful children of Lex Lutherin ✨
