Hello!

It has been a while since I introduced myself, so here is a little reintroduction. I’m Crysahna Coe, wife, girl mom, photographer, and outdoor enthusiast based in Denver, Colorado.

Before having children, you could find me hiking 14ers, camping, climbing, and traveling whenever possible. I still love those adventures, but now I am finding joy in a slower paced life at home with my family and friends.

This past year brought a lot of personal change. I experienced profound loss and welcomed a new baby in January. Between grief, a high risk pregnancy, and maternity leave, I grew in ways I never expected.

One thing that did not change is my love for photography. I connect deeply with couples and love showing up for them on their wedding day. My style is a combination of in the moment documentary, artistic storytelling, and timeless wedding photography. I love big adventures, but I also enjoy intimate gatherings.

My goal is to understand who you are and capture it in a gallery that feels authentic and true to you. Trends are fun, but your photos should tell your real story. They should be a snapshot of your life together. While I love to travel, I especially enjoy sharing my knowledge of the Front Range with clients and hope to continue expanding locally.

I am now accepting a limited number of new bookings for photography sessions, elopements, and weddings. I would love to create something meaningful with you.

Saturday night I shared this sneak peek, but I couldn’t resist posting here too!

When Lee reached out about planning and photographing his proposal to Serena, it was an immediate yes. She was coming to Colorado for training, and he wanted to surprise her with a mountain proposal. After lots of back-and-forth brainstorming and location scouting, the big day finally arrived. We crossed our fingers the rain would hold off long enough for him to pop the question. Not only did it hold off, but the sun even began to pour out of the clouds as we ended our session.

From the intentional planning to utter shock on Serena’s face, this proposal was so sweet and special. I could see how much they love and care for each other.

Congratulations, Lee & Serena! I can’t wait to deliver their full gallery next month.

I love that Maddie took the time to find a dress that felt like her. She didn’t go for the classic white gown. Instead, she chose a beautiful green dress that she can wear again again, and she always remember her wedding day when she wears it.

Will and Maddie took time to be as intentional as possible on their wedding day. They began their day with a first look, and then they drove around taking photos in the mountains before sharing private vows. After their morning together, they joined their family and friends for a public ceremony in the woods complete with music Will composed himself!

This is a beautiful reminder that your wedding day can be anything you want it to be. Whether it is traditional, untraditional or somewhere in between, all that matters is that you are celebrating the beginning of life with the person you love.

I loved this session with Natasha and Dillon! We met up in the mountains just outside of Denver and had the best time taking their engagement photos. I especially loved that they brought one casual outfit and one dressier look. It was the perfect way to mix things up and get two totally different vibes in their final gallery!

They also brought their sweet pup along (my favorite thing!), and we timed everything for golden hour 😍 . Trust me when I say bringing your dog and chasing the sunset is always worth it!

It’s time for a life update. If you follow me on my personal page, you already know what is going on. But, I wanted to give you all a little insight to my absence on this page and slower response times.

I had a big announcement planned for the end of March. It was an exciting one. I was planning to announce my pregnancy, maternity leave and a how that would affect photography. I was so excited and ready to transition into motherhood. But, while getting ready for a date with Allen for our anniversary, everything changed. On March 22, after some complications, I went into labor and gave birth to my daughter, Haven Elizabeth Coe. I was only 20 weeks pregnant, so she was too young to survive.

As you can imagine, I am heartbroken and devastated. I’m finding it difficult to imagine booking new clients when the 2nd half of this year was going to be spent on maternity leave bonding with my baby. Because of that, I am closing my books for 2024. I want to give myself space to heal, and I cannot do that if I book as many weddings and elopements as I have the past few years.

If you already have a signed contract with me, don’t worry. I’m still your girl and plan on being at your elopement/sessions. Everyone who was directly affected by my absence was contacted and taken care of. I’m so thankful for their understanding. I truly have the best couples.

✨ 4 years ✨ ago I married my favorite person in a State Farm office because Covid-19 shut the world down. Our dream wedding might have been canceled, but I’m so glad that a beautiful marriage isn’t the reflection of the wedding.

🤍

Allen, I love you and the life we’re building together so much. I love that we finally feel at home in our house, I love our weekly dates, I love that we’re getting better at loving each other, and I love dreaming about future trips together. Year 4 is my favorite season so far, and I cannot wait for year 5. I think it is going to be our wildest year yet 🤍

How has it already been a week since this session?!

I’ve been busy unpacking boxes and getting the apartment ready for our final walkthrough, but you better believe I’ll get back to editing this session ASAP.

Once upon a time, i didn’t care too much about florals, but this year that changed. I’ve worked for couples that have had out of this world bouquets, and now I’m obsessed 🤩
