the mountains are beautiful but downtown Denver and the Byron Courthouse is equally is beautiful if you ask me 🤩 I was so stoked when Kai & Brian wanted to do a city engagement session with their rescue pup Remy. We had the best time and got such a fun variety of brick + alleyway shots near Union Station (separate post of that incoming) and then these sweet sunset moments on the courthouse steps. I love meeting such cool couples and getting to explore all around town with them!

One of those nights that leaves you smiling on the drive home :,) Lupita & Eric brought all of the best energy to this elopement with their closest family. Cheers and laughs were had, a cape was worn, jokes were made, and the fall colors surrounded them with unreal gorgeousness! I absolutely loved how often L&E made each other smile big real smiles. 🤍

2026 was a year of amazing elopements + weddings. Here are some snapshots from Darian & Jacob’s elopement which started with putting their cats’ whiskers in Jacob’s boutonnière, doing a first look and private vows at their cabin, then driving to one of my favorite spots by the water for a small ceremony with their best friend as the officiant. After, we took windy but magical photos by the lake and then headed back to their cabin for champagne and their first dance. I loved how their day included aspects of a bigger wedding like a first dance but was still intimate and focused on them. Elopements are the best for spending quality time with your person. ❣️

Tristin and Matt’s Leadville elopement was a day I’ll stay thinking about! We started by the water with a first look, private vows, and ceremony surrounded by their loved ones and of course their dogs.

Then I got to do something that was a first - hopping into the back of a Jeep while Matt drove us to a secret location that they had explored before. Off-roading is one of their passions, and I love when couples can incorporate meaningful activities that they like to do together!

We ended up in a vast field of tiny wildflowers and incredible views and ran around taking more photos. It was such a unique, adventurous day that really encompassed why elopements rock. Thank you T&M (you guys rock as well!)

~ I have a few spots left for 2026 and am now booking into 2027-2028!

Looking back on Kayla and Alex’s incredible day at 🥹 20 photos weren’t nearly enough to capture how much love and emotion went into this day. From Alex making sure the perfect song was playing during their first look to them smiling through the rain while we took photos, these two amazed me with their sweetness and devotion to each other and the people who showed up to celebrate them. Each wedding is such a treasured insight into the dynamics that couples share and K&A inspire me so much! Feeling so grateful for my 2025 couples and can’t wait to share more from the past year.

I haven’t shared an engagement session in way too long so though this night with Megan & Hayden was the perfect place to start! To say I had an amazing time with these two would be an understatement. 🥰 and we got every type of weather - a snow flurry, sun, and an unreal pink sky at sunset. What more could a photographer want? Shot on 35mm film & digital.

Casey and Jason on 35mm film in Crested Butte? THIS sets my heart on fire 😍 so excited to share these film scans before I finish their full gallery! These two made me laugh so much and were just pure joy the entire evening, and also down for anything including having a Bundt cake picnic and then getting in the canoe. This is what summer is all about!
And yes you can now add a film roll to any session 📸
