My name is Heather Sansanelli, owner of Royal Lune Photo based in Fort Worth, TX. I specialize in artistic, fine art bo***ir and portraits, whether it be just you or with those you love. Capturing the aspects of relationships, including those between animals and their human caretakers, is my top priority. Fantasy, like all forms of art, brings us outside of ourselves. When Tolkien wrote The Lord of the Rings, he knew firsthand the necessity of escapism as he fought in WWI and experienced the horrors that goes along with that era. Now, almost 100 years later, we can escape into worlds like Middle Earth when we feel imprisoned by our reality 💛

Shot this gothic inspired engagement session at the studio and I am still thinking about how perfectly this couple committed to the aesthetic. A black ball gown, red roses, dramatic makeup, fog, and candlelit florals throughout. The coffin ring boxes, the moody lighting - it all came together into something perfectly vampy and romantic, perfect for dark fantasy lovers 🖤

I want to make myself very clear, Royal Lune Photo stands for immigrants, for Palestine, for LGBTQ+, for BLM, for women’s right to choose, for the protection of our planet - for the respect and equality for all.

Royal Lune Photo is a space for inclusivity and empowerment. What our current administration is participating in with regards to ICE is absolutely appalling.

For those in vulnerable and targeted communities, you are not alone. My space on the internet is small, but you have a safe place within it.

It is easy to feel helpless in dark times like these. Not knowing how to help or having the resources to feel like you can make meaningful differences. I want to remind you that joy and creativity are acts of rebellion in times of facism.

I create to empower people and to remind them that art is everywhere, including in each of us. To my fellow artists, keep creating. Throughout history, it has been all forms of art that has changed the world. We can change it, one rebellious act at a time ❤️

I’m excited to finally share some shots from one of my outdoor bo***ir photoshoots from my time in Tampa! I’ve always loved the way the spanish moss dreamily hangs off of most of the trees in Florida and really wanted to capture that backdrop while I had my chance. So excited to share some shots from one of my photoshoots in Tampa! While I love my studio and it has allowed me to be creative in so many ways, there is no recreating the magic of a nature bo***ir session.
