Life of a photographer’s child 🍉📷

You’d think she’d be used to the camera by now.

Instead, there was a meltdown, a refusal to smile, and a toddler who was far more interested in eating the watermelon than looking at me.

But one day, I know these are the moments I’ll treasure most because they captured her exactly as she is in this season. ❤️

This day was freezing, and the wind definitely did not make it easy. I delivered her gallery in my signature editing style (which I’ll share in the comments), but I went back and re-edited a few of these simply because I love the art of editing — refining an image so the feeling of that moment can be remembered, not just the photo itself.

These poses were gently guided, but many of the moments you see were the natural, in-between ones — the quiet interactions that unfold on their own and make a memory feel real. ✨
