There are moments that change you forever, and July 25th was one of them.

As a mama whose only birth experience was through a C-section, I had never witnessed a natural birth before. I honestly don’t think anything could have prepared me for what I experienced that day.

Standing behind my camera, I watched a mother dig deeper than I ever knew was possible. I watched strength replace fear, love overpower pain, and in one breathtaking moment, I watched a brand new life take its very first breath.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the room—including mine.

It was raw. It was powerful. It was sacred.

For just a moment, time stood still. Every contraction, every tear, every whispered word of encouragement led to the most beautiful miracle. It reminded me that birth isn’t just about bringing a baby into the world, it’s about watching a mother be born, too.

I’m forever grateful that this family trusted me to preserve one of the most intimate, life-changing moments they’ll ever experience. What an incredible privilege it is to witness love in its purest form.

Even days later, my heart is still so full. 🤍
