Luke + Rachel
There was something so special about this one. They got married in their own backyard, surrounded by the people they love most, and then headed to Prohibition in Powell for dinner, drinks, and celebrating afterward. Nothing overdone or complicated, just a really beautiful day that felt completely like them.
I kept thinking about how someday this won’t just be their backyard, it’ll be the backyard where they got married. The place where their family and friends gathered around them, where they said their vows, hugged the people they love, laughed, cried, and started this next part of their life together.
Those are the things I love most about photographs. Years from now, they have this incredible way of bringing you right back to the people, the place, and all the little moments you didn’t realize would mean so much someday.
I’m so grateful I got to preserve this one for Rachel + Luke.
