Markarian’s Chain Galaxy Cluster — I had the chance to capture this stunning cluster of galaxies on Saturday night. Using the dual RASA telescopes, I gathered a total of 3.5 hours of data, combining both OSC and mono exposures, with Luminance and Ha filters to bring out the fine details. The result highlights the beauty and depth of this vast cosmic structure. Excited to share this one!
Markarian’s Chain is part of the Virgo Cluster, which contains over 1,300 galaxies. The galaxies in Markarian’s Chain are approximately 50-60 million light-years away from Earth.

Drifting 5,000 light-years away in the constellation Monoceros, the Rosette Nebula glows with intense detail. This celestial bloom, shaped by stellar winds and radiation, surrounds a cluster of young, luminous stars that energize its vibrant structure. Wisps of hydrogen and oxygen weave through the nebula, revealing the intricate process of star formation.
