A Birds Tale by Deanna - Deanna Farrell Wood Wildlife Photography I am a firm believer that everyone has that one thing, that one passion in life that makes them whole. Never had I ever taken the time to just notice.

For years I struggled to find that one thing that would just make me feel complete. I would start so many projects, finish some, lose interest in others, and could not find that one thing to complete me. One morning while I was sitting out on my back porch, I heard a Male Cardinal calling out to his mate and he landed in one of my fruit trees and it dawned on me at that moment that I never truly t

reasured the sounds and the beauty surrounding me. Finally, I found my inspiration and I went right into the house and with a few clicks, I purchased a bird feeder to put on the porch. That one feeder connected me to nature, that happy place to stay focused on. It was the best feeling I have had in years, just noticing the beauty! For years being caught up in the daily hustle, nose buried in today’s technology and not realizing that there is more to life than an iPhone, iPad, Laptop, social media and TV. Many months passed watching, observing, learning, enjoying and capturing photos of the beautiful birds that blessed my back yard. I began to share my photography with my Family and Friends, and they all encouraged me to spread my work even further. Having the support of loved ones is the best boost to follow your dreams! With that support ‘A Birds Tale by Deanna’ was born. My main feature is telling each bird’s story in every photo that I capture and of course I have opened my lens to more than birds, I love to share anything that is beautiful to me. This journey is dedicated to my late mother Jeanne Farrell.
