Hi, I'm Sam🫶

I've photographed roughly 400,000 moments and starred in almost none of them.

Nashville photographer. Elopements, branding, senior portraits. Eight years of saying "just be natural," a phrase that has never in recorded history made a single human being more natural.

Nobody tells you this part.

The best moment of an elopement almost never happens during the official bit. It happens right before. You are standing there, the light is going gold, and it lands on both of you at once that there is no schedule to keep and nobody waiting on you. No one to perform for. Just the two of you and the thing you are about to say out loud.

That is the frame I am watching for. That is the whole job.
