On May the 4th in a galaxy not so far away, these two eloped on Tatooine.
Death Valley National Park is famously one of the filming locations used for Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope.
So of course we tried to find as many filming locations as we could and take pictures on that hallowed ground!
Although the wind prevented us from going everywhere (like the sand dunes) it was an absolutely stunning day. We had so much fun exploring and hunting for the exact shots (not all pictured here).
The bride crocheted a little C-3PO who graciously accepted the role of ring bearer.
And of COURSE we had to end with starry night sky portraits on a Star Wars themed elopement.
When I was editing this gallery, I was so struck by how this couple did not give up any part of themselves to please someone else.
Star Wars makes them happy and they went all in.
This gallery is also proof that you don’t have to give up elegant, elevated wedding photos when you choose an unconventional theme.
May 4, 2027 is still available in my books for any Star Wars fans inspired by this idea 😉
