Dearborn- Kendall- House Fire

A call came in for a house fire on Kendal Street in the city's east side. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke emanating from the original dwelling, with flames hitting the exposure. A second alarm was called for. Heavy fire on the second floor; crews had difficulty getting to the attic. The fire attack was made from the ladder to hit the attic area blocked with a metal gate or door. Crews entered the exposure for hot spots. The crews battled heat and humidity also. Extra manpower called to the scene. One firefighter was transported as a precaution

Line of Duty Death Notification
The Lincoln Park Fire Fighters Local 1292 regret to announce the Line of Duty Death of Sgt. Adam Amrozi, who passed on July 19th. Sgt. Amrozi’s death has been classified as a Line of Duty Death, occurring while off shift, in recognition of the circumstances surrounding his passing and his dedicated service to the Lincoln Park Fire Department. Sgt. Amrozi honorably served our community for 22 years, demonstrating unwavering commitment, empathy, and courage throughout his career.

Emergency Vehicle Procession
All emergency vehicles wishing to participate must be in line by 08:30 at 10915 Allen Rd. Allen Park, Michigan.

Please report to the staging officer for instructions.
The procession will depart at 09:00.
The procession will arrive at 3200 West Rd. Trenton, Michigan, at approximately 09:45, where a respectful transfer into the funeral home will take place.
