Beautiful Olivia and her family were SO incredibly sweet, right down to the pup, Monsieur Buster.🐶 (I especially liked his MSU apparel 🙈😂) case in point ➡️I told Olivia’s mom during the shoot that I was a little obsessed with her top, and the next day I got a text saying that she’s picked one up for me at Target! When I found out that Emily’s dad had a way for us to get a few shots in the village after hours, you would have seriously thought I’d been invited to the Academy Awards 😂🏆 the JOY of not having to give the “wait one sec” sign overandover warmed my little photographer’s soul 😂💕 so much fun working with beautiful Emily, I’m getting a MAJOR Anna Kendrick vibe, anyone else? @ Greenfield Village

Sixteen years ago I was freshly graduated with my art degree wondering what in the world I was going to do with my life now that it was time to start that pesky little thing everyone refers to as “adulting” now. 😆I did a job search with “art” as the keyword and “sandwich artist” at Subway was the first thing that popped up. 🤦🏼‍♀️😳 For. Real. Not long after I found myself in the aisles of Home Depot when I ran into an old friend who was currently working as a nanny but was getting ready to have her first child- she asked if I knew anyone. 🤔long story even longer, in a few short weeks I found this not-so-little anymore two year old in my arms and my whole life changed forever. His mom became my best friend and these kids became my family. Jack has had my heart from day one and I am SO proud of what an incredible human he’s turned out to be. He put in SO many hours on his “job site” in his Bob the Builder days, with so many of the neighborhood kids working for him 😂 I kind of always pictured him running some kind of construction business 🤷🏼‍♀️ 🚧 🔨 can’t wait to see what lies ahead for one of my favorite humans.

All of my neighbor’s kids are so model-y it’s ridiculous.😂 I seriously rejoice each time one graduates bc it feels like a mini fashion shoot for me!📸 MORE importantly, they’re super funny and kind and fun to be around. This is Henry and he’s awesome.🤗🙌🏽

Baby boy twinsies! 🙈🙈🍼🍼 Boy did this shoot bring me RIGHT back to the diaper years- the “condo days”-bundling up two infants and carrying them down three flights of stairs in their car seats mid-February JUST to let the dog go to the bathroom 🐶😂 raising twins is some SERIOUSLY sweaty business and more chaotic than I ever imagined (I’m still whining daily about my broken lamp from last week- apparently the madness continues into the fifth grade 🤪) but we truly wouldn’t want it any other way. 💕💕
