While watercolor and mixed medium drawing were my first loves, photography stole my heart. Being able to stop time, capture history, important moments, beauty, and in a way freeze time through photography was what piqued my interest. I really love the idea that important parts of history such as many buildings no longer standing, exist still in my photos. Flowers, although dead are still beautiful
, and most importantly beauty, details, and moments that may have otherwise gone unnoticed canlami be captured and forever documented. The most important of life events, loved ones who are no longer with us, the first year of life, the beauty of a sunset, and so many other things otherwise fleeting are permanent.
