Beavertail Mountain Rest Area
Large pulloff loop from Eastbound I-70 just after CO. 65/Grand Mesa exit (Eastbound access only). It has super wide shoulders with ample room to park and rest/relax, with views of the mountain and Colorado River. There is a boat ramp on the east end of the pull off area.

Morning Drive on I-70 through DeBeque Canyon, to Grand Junction, Colorado.
I love driving through this spectacular canyon whenever I go to Grand Junction. The views of the canyon walls and the Colorado River are beautiful at every turn.

I never expected to find scenery like this on Oklahoma. The rolling hills, the vibrant green landscape, and the peaceful views really caught me. 💚

Have you ever visited a place that looked nothing like you expected?

Maroon Creek dances through the heart of the valley like a ribbon of liquid silver, carrying the snowmelt of the Maroon Bells through fields of wildflowers and glowing aspens.
Beneath Colorado's most famous peaks, its rushing waters add a voice to the wilderness—a constant reminder that even the grandest mountains are shaped by the quiet persistence of a creek.

Road Trip Therapy! 🚗
One of Colorado's most underrated drives Part 3 of 4: The road to Marble, Colorado ⛰️

Some roads take you somewhere. Others change you along the way.

Gunnison County Road 3 winds through towering cliffs, open valleys, and endless mountain views before arriving in the quiet, remote town of Marble, Colorado. With every mile, the noise of everyday life fades a little more, replaced by the sound of rushing creeks, whispering aspens, and the feeling that you're traveling back to a simpler time.

This isn't just a drive—it's a reminder that some of the most beautiful places are found at the end of the roads less traveled.
