Every year, I hear parents say, “I can’t believe it’s their senior year already.”

This year, I’m saying it too.

My daughter is a senior at Killingly High School, and these portraits were taken at Lavender Pond Farm. As I photographed her, I kept thinking the same thing so many parents tell me: How did we get here this fast?

For years, I’ve photographed seniors and watched their parents experience that mix of pride, excitement, and disbelief. This year, I’m living it right alongside you.

I’m not just photographing the Class of 2027.
I’m raising one too.

So when you tell me you can’t believe senior year is already here, believe me, I completely understand.
