Using and

sUAS have many talents. One that we have implemented is identifying hazards in Landing Zones (LZ). With AI capabilities coupled with mapping software, we have been able to safely map our local and overseas LZ’s. We have found significant cost savings in trading helicopter blade hours for sUAS minutes. Additionally, we have found utilizing these assets to identify confined areas that could be used for training were hindered by hidden wires and obstacles making them un-suitable for training. From pinnacle LZ’s to slope landings, mapping software has significantly enhanced our situational awareness and kept our crews safe and reduced our operational costs.
