Happy Belated Father's Day to all the amazing fathers out there, but especially to my own dad, Ric Moody. My father has always supported my interests throughout my life and pushed me to acquire my first real drone when I was on the fence back in 2014. It seemed like an enormous purchase at the time not knowing if I would enjoy the hobby, but his constant reinforcement and interest in my progression sparked my passion. He would consistently bring up in conversation with me the latest technology advancements that drones were seeing or any laws or issues that may be on the horizon, even though he had his own hobbies and work to tend to. He was everything you'd want in a father...caring, supportive, encouraging, and optimistic. He had the best advice no matter the subject matter and my life has been infinitely better with him in it.
My father passed away a couple weeks ago, on June 4th. I wanted to post one of his drone photos that he took back when we were just getting started learning about this hobby. He was so excited to take our first drone down to Hilton Head to try his hands at drone photography seeing that I was having success, and was even more thrilled when he came home to share that my tips for him helped achieve his goal of the photo he had in mind all along. Here's that photo that I'm posting as tribute to him. Love you, Dad.
