I will be spending the next....foreseeable future....removing any identifying photographs of children & also adults from all of my social media accounts. Please hold grace as this will be quite the process. 13/14 years in business & a whole adult life in the internet is a lot to go through.

The Supreme Court ruling is a devastating one. The lived experience is a nightmare already for so many, I cannot sit back quietly pretending the perversion & risk isn't real, or can't happen to my clients or myself. These predators are closer than you think.

I don't know what this may do to my business, what that will look like from here. I don't really care. I will always protect children & stand vehemently against abusers & a system that supports them.

I recognize this risk has always been there, this is just the final nail in the coffin for me as this has been something on my mind for a long time & having lived experience with the kind of risk this also puts my clients. I'm fed up, to wrap my rage up in a pretty little bow, & I am okay with this decision.

The algo will probably hide this anyway. ✌🏽

my birthday was yesterday & it's always a signal to me that summer is dwindling down...between all the stormy weather & the extreme heat, I am embracing these mid-70s temps we have to look forward to this week!! My summer calendar is a few sessions shy from being closed & fall sessions are being scooped up as quickly as the leaves are beginning to fall!! I have a HANDFUL of minis left! (Just a fewww golden hour spots left!) Eep!

Another school year is beginning, homecoming & seniors filling up my calendar for the fall already & fall minis are booking like crazy! I have a few evening spots left on October 17th & October 25th!

Eeeeppppp!!! Fall mini update!

it's that time already...our closets still lined with shorts, sundresses, & tank tops with humidity hairstyles & makeup to work around the inevitable sweat mustache...but ya girl is already planning for the cableknit, courdoroy, & new boot goofin'! & if you know me at allllll, you know I *pay close attention* to everything around me & nature is one of my most favorite things to observe next to humanity, so I'm already noticing a change in the leaves & getting the cocoa mugs ready!

I always, every year without fail, even in the last few years where my business struggled the most...sell out my fall calendar. Back to back sessions, full weekends dedicated to the most amazing, talented, generous, world-changing-kindhearted, gorgeous families under nature's jewel toned rainbow treescape cascading overtop them to adorn their walls & keepsake albums...freezing time for y'all is my favorite thing, these kiddos grow so rapid fire quick...it's unreal, surreal, heartbreaking & tragic while simultaneously being the most prized, meaningful, rewarding human experience...& we blink...& you're already in the middle of the next chapter.

It all means so much to me simply because it all means so much to me. Our people are truly all that matters in this life & life has humbled me enough to truly know how much weight that truth carries. Being a mother is who I am, it's how I see the world, it's how I relate to others, & it's the fire in me that has me fighting for the things that matter.

I could go on & on, & in time...I will :) until then, I'll quit yapping & give you the goods you came here for!

Hey hi hello 🩷 I don't post much, & I prefer it that way...but I'm still busy doing this soul fulfilling work with the most amazing humans! This beauty is gearing up for her senior year & we had sooo much fun dying in 90% humidity, par the course for Ohio summers! All thisbback to school prep has me thinking ahead to the cozy season, I can't be the ONLY one...Set your reminders: I always post the good stuff in my VIP group early, so they have already been snagging spots left & right, but I'll be announcing fall mini dates at 1pm!! & there's a few golden hour spots left surprisingly!!

watching this beautiful little family grow from that gorgeous couple in love at their sister's wedding to their own & now two beautiful babies to help grow, cherish, & soak in on alllllll their big & little milestones along the way is truly the entire thing about this job. getting to know such wonderful people, some making a permanent spot in your life, so many to learn from, & to do something so incredibly special for...photography is never just about photos, it's about perserving everything that's important to you that you never want to forget. 🩷 my kiddos are headed to their last day of school for the year & I am sooo excited to soak up the summer making all the memories with them, whether it's a slow boring day at home or an afternoon swimming & playing outside...my summer calendar is officially opened up to August! the dreamy sunset spots usually go first! so let's make some super cute summer plans to smother your walls and socials with those cute little faces that mean the absolute world to youuu! you know what to do 🫶🏽

this little lady came to spend some time in front of my camera to commemorate her first communion! what a beautiful milestone to be a part of and to have documented for her...watching her little (larger than life) personality take up allllllll the space was everything to witness & capture 🩷 I am so grateful to have built something so treasured that I get to do work like this for people to always look back on to remember, to relive, & to tell the whole story of your life...
