Let’s go! Sammy and Zvi, you’re officially Fearless! (Which, I already knew, haha!)

Collection 74 of Fearless Photographers released today, and I’m honored as always to have received an award. There were some incredible images in this collection (I see you, Lanny, Erika, Jeff, Jason, Priyanca, etc!), so it was awesome to see Sammy and Zvi bring one home as well.

Congrats to all the winners, and thank you to the judges. I love Fearless; the community, creativity, and collaboration that have happened because of this incredible group of worldwide photographers is unmatched. I can’t wait to see collection 75!

released their most recent awards today, and I’m honored to have received award #21 from them! This is an image I’ve believed in for a long time, and to see it gain that badge is exciting! This church had the coolest spiral staircase with stained glass up to their choir loft, and after climbing it a couple times during the ceremony and getting all my steps in for the day, I knew we needed to make an image with it. 😊

Thank you, Fearless judges, and congrats to all the winners! The competition sees more than 10K submissions from all over the world each time, and less than 3-5% win. It’s always a thrill to bring home one of these coveted awards. 💕

So honored to have earned another Fearless Photographers award this round - this time it’s one in the stunning Columbus State Capitol Building!

My couples are amazing, and I’m so thankful they trust me with their days. It’s an honor to get to capture some of their most precious moments for them.

Thank you to all the judges this round, and congrats to all the winners! This is seriously the toughest competition in the industry, and I’m always amazed to see the sheer amount of talent all over the world. It’s inspiring!

Currently for 2023 rankings, I’m humbled to be tied for #2 in the USA, and #22 overall in the world for wedding photographers. And psst…still currently the #1 female in Fearless. 😉😎 Let’s keep it going, 2023!

Honored to receive another Fearless Photographers award this round — but in a new way! This round they judged not only single photos, but also had a new category, which was a full wedding story. We had to submit 15 images from the same wedding to show a full wedding story from a single day. And, if we were awarded, the story gained us 2 Fearless Awards.

It’s tough enough to strike and catch a moment or two that are compelling during a wedding at times. When asked to provide a 15 image set from a single wedding that tells the story of the day in a compelling way…shew! That’s a new level of curating and expectation. To get to submit a wedding story to Fearless and have the judges feel it’s strong enough to be awarded, that’s a huge honor!

With these awards, I’m now ranked at #11 in the world for wedding photographers this year, and #3 in the United States. The highest ranking I’ve ever held! (Jason, I’m coming for you dude. Ha!)

Big thank you to Natasha and Daj'za for letting me capture your day, and thank you to the judges Tyler, Christian, and David for taking the time to judge the submissions. Congrats to all the winners of both the solo and the storytelling submissions. It’s always an honor to snag a Fearless, whether it’s a solo image or the new storytelling category! You voted, and coming in first for the senior highlight film photo reveal was ! Gabe is an incredible basketball player for , and he’s headed to be a Hoosier next year with . This guy brought so much energy to the gym for his photos, and I can’t wait to share the footage that captured of him laying down dunk after dunk for us!

Congrats, Gabe, on your upcoming graduation, and good luck this year in basketball. Bring home the championship, and Go Elks!

(For photographers, we had a 4 light setup for this: 2 B10s with Magnum OCF reflectors at about 5’ on either side of the backboard at the baseline, aimed up at where Gabe would be jumping. Behind him on either side of the free throw line we had Profoto A1Xs in Stripboxes. Drew used an .lighting 600C constant to kick a pop of color on his right side. All Profoto gear was in HSS, and both of us were using A1 cameras to photograph and film. Footage in the reel is from my Hero 11, which I mounted to the top of the backboard with a super clamp. Any questions, just ask! 🙌🔥)

Happy Halloween from Baby Yoda! 😂😉💕 I’ve absolutely loved using my pavotubes, and they were PERFECT for Landon’s Halloween shoot! Add in some for a spooky vibe, and you have a winning combination for these frighteningly adorable photos! 😉 Hope everyone stays safe and has a wonderful Halloween this year!

I had so much fun getting to photograph Centerville High School's Game Day & Competitive Cheer Squads this past week! These ladies are incredible. Have you ever tried to do a toe touch in the air and maintain a killer smile? Because these girls can crush it! So fun to watch them do their thing. Good luck this year, ladies!

When you have the most amazing couple who’s down for anything, and some new lights that can go anywhere. 😍😎🙌💥 These pavotubes are blowing my mind! I originally got them for studio portraiture, but took them to a wedding yesterday to see how they’d fare in a different situation. Not only were they fantastic for lighting up the reception room, they also were super cool to attach to beautiful swing. The tubes looked so cool on the ropes, and made a super unique photo for Amanda and Adam. Congrats, you two, and thanks for letting me create for you. You had an incredible day!!

These two were so fun to wander Cincinnati with! Alison and Devin were game to get creative and find all the fun spots around Findlay Market, and that’s just what we did…complete with this pit stop by the bike rack. They made everything look great!
