Alexis & Nick🎾

We are about 4 months away from their wedding day and I just wanted to share some of my favorite photos from their engagement session, captured last September.

I met Alexis and Nick in 2023, to photograph a couples session for them at a winery/vineyard in Geneva. I was so stoked when I found out that Nick proposed to Alexis shortly after, and even more stoked when the couple inquired with me to photograph their wedding in 2026, at one of my favorite picturesque venues in Ohio

Tennis is a hobby that the couple enjoys to do together, so we made sure to incorporate some tennis themed photos in their engagement session!

Haylee & Maria’s Red River Gorge Surprise Proposal/Engagement

I’ve recently spent a Sunday evening hiking in the red with the couple and their dog, Cade. Patiently waiting at the top of the arch for Haylee to pop the question and propose to her partner, Maria, capturing their true reactions during the raw and unfiltered moment. We then continued to hike the rest of the trail, while I captured more portraits of the newly engaged couple.

I just want to say, what a true joy and pleasure it is to be trusted and invited to document real, high-energy and exciting moments like this one, and I’m beyond excited to witness how their journey into the married life unfolds!

One of my favorite things as a photographer who works with many couples is being able to just watch and document their relationship as it progresses while creating meaningful and aspiring art, custom and fitting to them!
