A business discovered on accident.

Home Run Photography was founded in 2018 on complete accident. Founder and Owner Seth Hansen loved watching his son play in a variety of sports growing up. It wasn’t until 2018 when his son appeared on his first select baseball team that things changed. You see, his son is a left handed pitcher and to combat the anxiety of a father watching his son on the pitchers mound, he pulled out his Nikon camera and started taking pictures of the team in action on the field. He only took pictures while his son was pitching but realized when he sat in the stands and looked around, he saw so many parents behind their phones trying to capture that “special moment” and missing out on the live action of their son or daughter playing. At first, his son would mention that he hated looking over and seeing him take pictures, but when he saw the product of his work, he was ultimately overjoyed.

Seth has many years of an artistic background. He is an avid musician and has played drums for over 20 years. He’s known around the Dayton area as a solid pocket blues drummer.
