E pluribus unum. Out of many, one.

America is a place unlike any other. A melting pot of cultures and religions and peoples. Natural wonders abound. A place where people can come and find freedom and pursue happiness.
As James Baldwin said, "I love America more than any country in the world, and, for exactly this reason, I insist on the right to criticize her perpetually."

I believe in America and all she stands for. May our 250th birthday remind us all of the reasons we love America, and may we strive for better days ahead.

Here are some of my favorite photos from around the country. The greatest of America's treasures is our public lands. I am grateful I have seen America the Beautiful, time and time again.

Friends and Clients,

As of 12pm today, my website is offline for the foreseeable future.

I have loved being your photographer for the past 12 years as a professional, and for far longer before then as a creative.

As motherhood, college classes, and an international move continue to take up time in my life, it is time for me to step back for a while. I do intend to return to my business, but for now, my first priority is being present with my family, being a successful student, and helping my family prepare for a move abroad to Germany in the summer.

In the meantime, I am ALWAYS available to be your photographer. Whether you have a wedding, senior portraits, family photos, or brand work, I can be contacted here or on Instagram at . I'll be posting more travel and documentary work there in the future, and I look forward to using my creativity in a different way.

I have had no greater honor than bearing witness to your weddings, your growing families, and your milestones. You have my endless thanks for your trust in my artistry. I appreciate you more than you know.

He’s cancer-free!!!

My nephew Levi was the star of the show at largest bell ringing! There are so many people who have deeply loved our family over the last 2.5 years. Whether you gave to his GoFundMe, followed his story online, or are one of the many medical providers who kept my best friend alive, thank you. We have been in awe of our hometown and local communities — Orrville, Smithville, Virginia Beach, AFIT, and our international military friends.

And yes, Levi is dressed as Michael Jackson, his favorite artist, and walked down the bell dancing and singing to Thriller. 😂❤️

THANK YOU (and for a brief stint last winter). Here’s to many more years with the best big kid I know.

Today we explored Honolulu and Waikīkī’s Kalākaua Street along with walking in Waikīkī Bay, ate the most incredible blue marlin tacos with an ice cold beer, and made it out to the Pearl Harbor National Historic Park (more words on that later). There is no better feeling than exploring a new place with your best friend.
