Happy New Year, Everybody!!! 2017 is finally here!
Michael and I wanted to take the start of this new year to thank each and every one of you for all of your support and taking the time out of your day to view/like our posts! We also wanted to send a special thank you to all of our customers! Each session we had the privilege to photograph is so special to us, so thank you so much for your business!
We've had the honor of photographing so many weddings the past 4 years, each with their own unique and individual flare. But with a new year, comes new endeavors! Michael and I have decided to switch it up, and pursue some other career paths in the creative field outside of photography. That being said, we will no longer be photographing weddings. Instead, we will be switching our main focus to portraits, here at SBP: head shots, family, creative, etc. (But no worries, I can send you in the direction of some amazing photographers, that also happen to be my friends, for those special events in your life!)
We're so thankful for the opportunities we've had, and the wonderful people we've been able to work with! We're excited for what 2017 holds, and we hope this year is nothing short of amazing for everyone!

My absolute favorite moment of today was when Santa was trying to talk to JonJon and ask him what he wanted for Christmas, and JonJon replied with "presents."

I got the privilege of going with my parents and sister to take my darling niece and nephew to meet Santa today! Mali was ticked off that we handed her to a complete stranger and JonJon was 100% unimpressed with the jolly old man! 😂

Sometimes as a photographer you get to challenge yourself and take your own pictures. ^-^ (I highly recommend a tripod and a wireless remote - it makes getting the task done SO much easier!)

Yesterday we drove to Helen and took family pictures with Michael's family... I know I don't normally share personal pictures on this page, but I enjoyed how these came out. Plus I thought this is the perfect week to share what you're thankful for. And I'm so blessed to have married into this amazing family.

I've been pretty horrible at updating my page with photo sessions as of lately. That being said, here's a preview from a photoshoot we did last weekend. (:

We had such a blast shooting this mini session at Wilshire Park in Gainesville! Jennifer and Jeff are always so amazing to work with, and I love that they're always so chill and full of fun ideas! And for an extra bonus, their boys are absolutely adorable!! ^-^

We were able to do a mini session with Jason and Emily, their gorgeous baby, Poppy, and Emily's parents on Saturday at McDaniel Farm Park in Duluth. Michael and I feel so blessed to get to photograph this family and watch as their Poppy grows so fast!

Michael and I had an absolute blast photographing and celebrating the love of Jennifer & Jeff Rector this past Sunday! They had their wedding on yacht in the middle of Lake Lanier. The day was as close to perfection as it gets. Beautiful weather and amazing people.

Had the pleasure of driving to Duluth yesterday to photograph Emily and Jason's 1 month old daughter, Poppy! She was such a sweet bundle of joy to take pictures of. ^-^
