If anyone has high school seniors that have not had photos done this year I am updating my website and looking for new faces. Sessions will be lower than my normal rate and I am open for a handful of sessions before the school year is out. I'm also currently open for taking a handful of birth clients for summer. Please feel free to reach out to discuss details! :)

It's not everyday you do a wedding amidst hurricane debris. On one of my Mexico Beach trips I heard that Brittany and Ben had set a date. They wanted to get married on the empty slab of their home that had been destroyed by Hurricane Michael. Within seconds I said "SIGN ME UP"... and so it began. I had remembered Brittany's story from my first visit, and as first responders they have done so much for their community, both before and after the storm, even after losing their own home.

The wedding was planned in a short 2 1/2 weeks, no easy feat, and a team effort! The vendors that stepped up to make this day happen came from Orlando, Southern Georgia, and even Alabama! Rain changed the plan a little bit, but rain or shine Brittany and Ben were getting married ON that slab! All morning and in the moments before the ceremony it poured rain. You can imagine everyone's delight when it cleared long enough for the ceremony, and for most of our photos after. Listening to Brittany's song walking down the aisle pipe through the loudspeaker of a Mexico Beach police car made it complete! There were cheers of joy when it started pouring again in the middle of their first dance. How poetic for what they have been through... In the end it was PERFECT. Having the ceremony on the slab was a beautiful way to say goodbye to old memories, and say hello to new ones.

It was an honor and privilege for John and I to travel to Mexico Beach to celebrate this very special day. We have new amazing friends, and memories that will last forever!

Congrats to Brittany and Ben, and their sweet little Skyla! We can't wait to see where life takes you!!

I was contacted by a friend of The Mosley’s after Hurricane Michael. She told me I had photographed their home when I was there on day 8 and that Alicia was pregnant. Alicia had mentioned to her that she wanted Adam to take some photos in the wreckage to tell the story of this time in their lives. Initially I heard that Adam was just going to do them with his iPhone. Anyone that knows me will tell you in this situation what I would do. I booked them a session on the Sunday I arrived in Mexico Beach. 😊 With my daughters help we created some magic in the images that show so much light in the face of darkness.

I would say this is one of the most powerful set of images I have ever shot. Mexico Beach (and it’s people) continue to make me fall in love with it with every visit. Even in the middle of chaos, it is so incredibly beautiful. And this gorgeous couple and their sweet little Noah couldn’t have been more amazing. I am so proud of this shoot. This is real life. This is what it’s all about. This is their reality right now. They are in the midst of huge change. The contrast in the joy of a new baby girl coming soon, and the sadness of a destroyed home... we found peace, joy, and so much laughter in those moments, and we captured pure LOVE. ❤️❤️❤️ ~ Cristy Nielsen Adam Mosley Alicia Marie Uhrich-Mosley

The Mosley family lost their home in Mexico Beach, Florida. We stumbled upon each other through one of their friends. It was an honor and a privilege to capture…
