Happy World Photography Day! World Photography Day is celebrated on August 19th each year to honor the art, history, and impact of photography! The day marks the invention of the Daguerreotype, an early photographic process developed by Louis Daguerre in 1839, which was officially recognized by the French government on August 19th of that year.

The celebration acknowledges the contributions of photographers around the world and the role photography plays in capturing moments, telling stories, and preserving memories. It’s also a day to appreciate how photography has evolved over the years, from early techniques to the digital age, and its influence on culture, communication, and art.

Never forget the importance that images play in our lives, although we don't think much about it, capturing a moment in time is a shred of evidence that our experiences, emotions, and connections are real. Each photograph tells a story, holds a memory, and preserves the essence of a moment that might otherwise fade away. So, embrace the power of images to remind us of where we’ve been, inspire where we’re going, and celebrate the beauty of life in all its forms.

It's about that time for FALL! That's right, those beautiful Fall colors, hoodies and jeans, boots and bonfires, hot apple cider, hot chocolate and fresh donuts at the cider mill, pumpkin carving, cool nights and all of the Fall festivities. Unbelievable scenery and production!

Photos ©Life Studios, Inc. Canadians Cici and Clement were not only serious about each other, but they were so serious about their wedding photos that they hired Life Studios, Inc. of Vancouver to join them in Iceland to document the nuptials. And the resulting images are breathtaking.
