Hey everyone good evening! 🤎

I just wanted to hop on for a quick little note because I’ve been seeing all of your inquiries coming in and WOW. I am genuinely so incredibly grateful for every single one! 🥹 With that being said I also wanted to share a little reminder about booking timelines. I often book weeks, months, and sometimes even a year in advance, so my calendar can fill up pretty quickly!
Because of that when it comes to “short notice” sessions I unfortunately cannot accept bookings with less than one month’s notice. The only exception would be if an unforeseen reschedule opens up a spot on my calendar.

I know life happens and sometimes you need photos sooner than expected, so I truly appreciate your understanding and patience when I’m unable to accommodate a last minute requests.( I do have amazing photographer recommendations if needed as well) & if anything if you can keep Simply Willson in mind for any future sessions you may want that would be amazing 🙂

You are loved. You are important. You matter.

My last wedding 🤍🥹💍

Being diagnosed with POTS has had a huge impact on my life over the last several years. It has changed the way I navigate my day to day life and unfortunately it has also changed what I’m able to take on professionally.

Long work days are no longer in the cards for me, and while that has been a difficult thing to accept, I’m incredibly thankful that I can still continue doing what I love through intimate elopements and the smaller, more intentional moments that fill my cup.

This last wedding was very bittersweet. I’m so incredibly grateful that I was able to document such a beautiful day in the UP, but knowing it was my last long wedding day made it emotional in a way that’s hard to put into words. It’s difficult closing a chapter.
But this isn’t the end of Simply Willson Photography. 🤍
I’m still here and I’m still creating.

I’ll continue offering portrait sessions, maternity, seniors, engagements, couples, intimate elopements, and all of the other sessions that remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place. Moving forward, I’m choosing to create a business that allows me to protect my health, be present for my family, and still create meaningful work for the people who trust me with their memories.

Sometimes the path we imagined for ourselves has to change. That doesn’t mean the dream is over. Sometimes it just means we get to build a version of it that fits the life we’re actually living. 🫶🏻

So here’s to a new chapter. A little slower & a little more intentional.

Thank you to every single person who has trusted me to document your life, supported my business, shared my work, cheered me on, and allowed me into some of your most meaningful moments. I genuinely wouldn’t be here without you.
