Yesterday's trip to Blackwater Falls in Tucker County West Virginia
with only the sound of the Falls (and other people visiting)

Don't forget to visit Blackwater Falls State Park in Davis West Virginia this fall season to see this beautiful 57 feet tall waterfall in all it's Autumn glory. 😍

👣 Located in the Allegheny Mountains of Tucker County West Virginia and only 8 miles from Canaan Valley Resort, another absolutely stunning destination to visit right now.

📍Northeastern/Potomac Highlands part of WV

🌅 this is a great spot for sunset. You can visit the Blackwater Falls Boardwalk Trail which is more than 200 steps down or visit Blackwater Falls Viewpoint for an upper view of it all. This provides a flat path out to the overlook area. A really easy walk for anyone who needs/wants it. 😊

⏳️ It's a really busy time of year for sightseeing and parking spots are limited here, if you find there is no parking when you get there take a small drive and check again. It's worth the wait. 🚗

📝 Visiting Tucker County is such a wonderful Bucketlist item right now if you want to feel like you just stepped into the perfect Fall Scenery. 🥾
(Which I absolutely did)
Everything was even more beautiful than I even imagined it would be.

🍁 I got to stop by Blackwater Falls Overlook yesterday October 10, 2026 and this was my Blackwater Falls view. Its only going to get even more beautiful and I can't wait to see it!
🌅 This is a great spot for sunset. You can visit the Blackwater Falls Boardwalk Trail that is 200+ steps down to the falls or visit Blackwater Falls Viewpoint to walk Gentle Trail for an upper view of it all. This provides a flat paved path out to the overlook area and is 0.25 miles. A really easy walk for anyone who needs/wants it. 😊
