Ok please don’t hate me because it is going to be 100 degrees here today…

But, it’s about to be the most wonderful time of the year at the tree farm 🎄

Tree Farm Mini Sessions are officially open for booking! Before the farm opens to the public, the rows of perfect trees are all ours. It’s a beautiful backdrop for getting your holiday card photos done early. And it feels so good to check cards off the list! And also, did you know I can even make them for you as a package option! 🎁

Join me for these fun holiday minis at Silveyville Tree Farm in Dixon. You’ll smell the fresh pine, let your kids run between the trees, and feel that first real dose of holiday magic. ✨

Just a recent roll of film from one last evening before summer ended.

I photographed my kids at the zinnia farm at the cusp of fall, and this film image of my daughter feels so much like the end of summer to me.

It’s been a busy week, and about to be an even busier one, but I am feeling so excited and grateful for the next few months.

October is almost fully booked (I might be able to squeeze in one more family session and there’s space in some minis).

I just opened up my November and December availability and I am truly so happy to work with all the families who step in front of my camera.

These scans landed in my inbox just in time for , and a sneak peek felt necessary.

This lakeside newborn session is exactly the kind of moment I chase all season: mama’s hair loose in the wind, sleepy baby curled tightly into her, and the quiet water stretched out flat behind them, echoed by a dusky pink sky. To me, these images are about the two of them figuring each other out in the first few days and weeks of new motherhood.

A little preview of what’s coming this fall.

This weekend kicks off my first full two days of petite sessions at the creek and the flower farm, and I am so excited for the families already on the calendar.
