Last week I lost my brother in law to colon cancer. Right after he was diagnosed, my sister in law gave me the special opportunity to take their family pictures, an honor I will never forget. These are some of my favorite pictures I have had the opportunity to capture.

Christopher was an amazing person. I’ll always have fond memories of him showing up to our house (no matter where we lived) if he was passing by just to say hello. He was always the first to compliment my cooking of dishes I brought to share at family gatherings. He had a talent for making others feel included and special. He was quick to share the amazing things he grew in his garden and Matt and I are now the proud owners of some of his chickens. Along with so many other memories and funny stories we have been reliving the last week.

I’ll cherish these photos forever! Please keep my sister in law and nieces and nephew in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
