My photography career started out with me as that family member / friend who can be trusted to take the photos you want sent to you after an event. Eventually realized I wanted to share this passion beyond family and friends. My full time job is in Project Management and Quality for Medical Devices, but when I'm not working, I always love to capture a special moment in a photo. I'm laid back, fun

to work with, and will make you laugh (I do want photos of you smiling). Caitlin’s maternity session felt extra special because she is my first cousin, and I have photographed her family in this same spot before. I shot her sister here, then my brother, and now Caitlin with her growing family. Amelia Earhart Park in Hialeah has this incredible ability to make you forget you are in the middle of the city. The light is beautiful, the shade is lovely, and it gives us so much room to create something soft and natural.

Big brother Maverick was the sweetest part of the morning, full of curiosity and excitement about what is coming next. Lifestyle maternity sessions are always a mix of gentle posing and simple prompts, and Maverick responded so well. His personality came through in every moment, and watching him love on his mom made the whole session feel even more meaningful.

We wrapped up with a visit to the goats, which has become a bit of a tradition at this park. It was the perfect ending to a calm, happy morning. As a South Florida family photographer, I love documenting these milestones in places that feel familiar and full of heart. Lila’s Bat Mitzvah was especially meaningful because her family recently moved to St. Augustine, yet they traveled back to Miami so she could celebrate with the people who have been part of her life for so long. This was my second mitzvah with the family, since I photographed her big sister Shaina a few years earlier. I also grew up with this family. Her mom’s sister and I went to Hebrew school together, and she was at my own Bat Mitzvah. The afternoon Havdalah service with Congregation Dor Chadash at the Bet Shira facility was led by Rabbi Jonathan Tabachnikoff, and I even went to sleepaway camp with his wife, which made the day feel even more full circle.

Her celebration took place at Fundimension in Wynwood, an alternative party space that fit her perfectly. Instead of a traditional dance floor, the night was all about fun and movement. You can see in every image how comfortable and happy she was, laughing with her friends while driving bumper cars, playing laser tag, air hockey and all the electronic games that kept the energy high.

Esther’s Bat Mitzvah weekend began at the Thursday morning minyan at B’nai Aviv in Weston, where she carried the Torah and the guys welcomed her into the club in the warmest way. It was such a sweet moment to witness. We followed with a relaxed mock mitzvah session on Thursday night, capturing all the pre‑Shabbat details before her Saturday morning service.

The celebration on Saturday night took place at the Old Davie School, transformed into a full W***y Wonka themed party. It was colorful, whimsical and full of personality, the perfect backdrop for Esther and her friends to dance, laugh and celebrate. The whole night had that joyful, candy‑coated energy that fit her so well.

Jake’s Bar Mitzvah pre‑shoot took us to the colorful Wynwood Walls in Miami, one of my favorite places to photograph because every session becomes its own little adventure. I love the discovery of the neighborhood, how each corner offers something new, and how the whole experience becomes collaborative and creative. When you’re having fun, it shows in your photos, and this family had fun. It’s written all over the images.

This is their second mitzvah with me, and seeing Landon again stopped me in my tracks. He has gotten so big. One of the things I love most about photographing Bar and Bat Mitzvahs is getting to witness that growth over the years. It’s such a privilege to be invited back into a family’s story as the kids grow into themselves.

There’s also something extra special about this family for me. My mom taught their dad in third grade, so documenting these milestones feels full circle in the sweetest way. Liora’s Bat Mitzvah at Temple Beth El in Boca Raton was filled with a warmth you could feel instantly. Her family’s energy was bright and palpable, and Liora reflected every bit of it. She carried herself with confidence throughout her service, smiled so easily and showed a poise well beyond her years. Watching her with her sister was especially sweet, loving and completely natural.

The celebration continued with a red carpet entrance that set the tone for a joyful, high energy night. DJ Pure Energy with MC Andre kept the room buzzing from the moment guests walked in, and Liora truly shined in the middle of it all. Joe Martinez of MJ Events and Promos brought the Broadway theme to life with décor that felt fun, immersive and perfectly matched to the family’s spirit.
